Evaluations Available

  • Subsurface oil and gas production safety valve testing
  • Product testing at controlled elevated temperature
  • Sliding sleeves and control port redirection mandrels

Deliverables

  • Summary of tested product temperature and pressure history
  • Summaries of tested product performance (e.g., measured leakage rates)
  • Preliminary test data can be e-mailed to your office within a day of testing
  • Final test data will be forwarded within two weeks

System Capabilities

  • Test temperature: 70°F to 350°F
  • Test product internal test limits: 15 psig to 20,000 psig (nitrogen gas)
  • Hydraulic power pressure limits: 30 psig to 20,000 psig

Special Features

  • Test cell physical size: 6-foot ID, 26-foot depth
  • Test cell has 18-inch reinforced concrete walls for containing a catastrophic failure
  • Test article size limitations:
    • Suspended from top--18-inch OD x 23-foot length
    • Bottom support--5-foot OD x 26-foot length
    • Weight--6000 lbs

Scheduling

  • Fee schedules and preparation guide are available on request
  • Tests are usually scheduled within a few days of receipt of the test valve and signed contract or purchase order
