Structural Design and Fabrication
Total design and fabrication is undertaken for a variety of complex structural and mechanical systems. For very large systems we often team with major industrial partners. In the civil sector, specialized support is given to large architectural and engineering firms. Particular expertise is available in the areas of underwater vehicles for both military and commercial application and of protective structures intended to contain or exclude blast loadings. Extensive use is made of computer-aided design, finite element structural analysis, and level 3 drawing facilities on all programs.
