A remotely operated manipulator arm was designed for changeout of high voltage power line insulator strings. Independently controlled cameras are mounted on adjustable brackets for optimum placement.

A fuel-air repetitive explosive (FARE) gun was developed to deposit surface coatings of various composition. The FARE gun process is applied to high speed dynamic balancing of compressors as well as depositing wear-resistant coatings during assembly line operations.
