To predict the complex behavior of valve and injector train systems, Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) engineers use both in-house design and commercially available software analysis tools. These tools provide the ability to quickly evaluate train and cam design and to predict dynamic characteristics.
When coupled with solid model CAD data and stiffness calculations from finite element analysis, system simulations become fast and accurate tools for the design engineer.
For more information about our valve and injector train dynamics capabilities, or how you can contract with SwRI, please contact Mark Tussing at mtussing@swri.org or (210) 522-2628.
