Engine and Vehicle R&D
The
Engine and Vehicle R&D Department conducts engine development on all forms of internal combustion and stirling
engines using a variety of fuels. Engine development programs are supported by software
development and combustion and fuel mixing modeling and research. These programs use
specially developed instrumentation, control systems, and data acquisition systems. In
addition, engine mapping and reliability and durability testing of engines or components
are conducted.
