Tianjin SwARC Automotive Research Laboratory Co., LTD
celebrated its two-year anniversary Sept. 14 at the Tianjin Golden Crown Hotel.
SwARC, a subsidiary of SwRI, was formed as a joint venture in 2005 between SwRI
and the People's Republic of China state-owned China Automotive Technology and
Research Center (CATARC). Representatives from automotive manufacturers and
industry organizations attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Director of Automotive Testing and
Research Institute Li Wei and Chief Representative Robert W. Burrahm (Office of
Automotive Engineering) read congratulatory letters from Director of CATARC Zhao Hang and SwRI President Dan Bates. Both Zhao and Bates praised
SwARC’s rapid progress. Bates expressed his gratitude to SwARC staff members for
their dedication and innovativeness. Zhao encouraged the staff to continue to
“explore diligently and conquer bravely” and also expressed his wish to see
SwARC become a top international automotive catalyst laboratory.
9月14日，天津索克汽车实验有限公司在天津金皇大酒店举办了成立两周年客户座谈会。来自奇瑞汽车公司、南汽集团等整车企业，巴斯夫催化剂（上海）有限公司、优美科汽车催化剂（苏州）有限公司、上海德尔福排气控制系统有限公司、无锡威孚环保催化剂有限公司、北京绿创、浙江达峰等催化剂及封装企业，以及中国环保产业协会废气净化委员会等行业组织的代表专程来津，索克公司部分员工参加了座谈。
会上，中国汽车技术研究中心试验研究所所长、公司董事李洧先生，美国西南研究院北京代表处首席代表Robert
W Burrahm先生分别宣读了汽研中心主任赵航、西南院院长J.
Dan Bates先生对公司成立两周年的贺信。贺信对公司在过去两年里所取得的进步给予了充分肯定。J.
Dan Bates先生对索克员工在过去两年中所表现出的奉献和创新精神表示感谢，赵航主任勉励大家发扬“勤于探索、勇于征服”的精神，共同把索克建设成为具有国际领先水平的车用催化器试验室。
