Computer & Instrumentation

The Computer and Instrumentation group in the Fuels and Lubricants Research Division is responsible for the design, fabrication, calibration, and support of data acquisition and control systems for lubricant test stands.

The Computer and Instrumentation Development and Maintenance Section is also responsible for the development and support of computer systems that control engine test cells, acquire test data and generate reports that are electronically transmitted to our clients. This section also maintains the divisional servers and provides hardware and software support for more than 450 users.
