Software
Development
A large range of different software products suited to fit each client’s needs is produced by the Aerospace Engineering Department at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI). Ground station software allows the user to collect data from the aircraft, while engine performance software allows the data to be examined in multiple different ways to detect and diagnose engine faults. The Digital Automotive Imaging System allows the user to search for vehicle images based on features such as make, model, and number of doors. A Flight Management System allows a small unmanned aerial vehicle to fly itself with minimal input from the ground.
