SwRI engineers analyzed original alignment and calibration procedures for the PARCS radar site at Cavalier AFS.

Original alignment and calibration procedures for the PARCS radar site at Cavalier AFS were analyzed by Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) engineers. Although many procedures are still optimal, because of equipment upgrades and other system modifications, some procedures needed to be engineered.

In addition to alignment and calibration for equipment groups, SwRI engineers provided consulting for improving the processes for individual radio frequency (RF) subsystems, and for the overall priority of alignment re-engineering efforts.

For more information about our alignment and calibration procedures capabilities, or how you can contract with SwRI, please contact Tom Untermeyer at tuntermeyer@swri.org or (210) 522-5040. We can provide a systematic approach for analyzing, re-engineering, and validating radar and other RF system alignment and calibration.
