Communications and Embedded Systems in the Automation and Data Systems Division at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) conducts applied research and system development for government and commercial clients. We apply our expertise to a wide range of applications to include network-centric systems, embedded hardware and software, cyber security, high reliability software, wired and wireless networks, remote sensing and sensor networks, automation applications, and space and airborne systems and software. We have a multidisciplinary staff with degrees in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, and physics.
Communications and Embedded Systems provides a wide range of services with an emphasis on system design and development and rapid response to challenge problems. Additionally Communications and Embedded Systems performs basic and applied research, modeling and simulation, and technical consulting.
