Industrial energy efficiency can be achieved through a variety of energy analysis programs set up for your business by TMAC. One such endeavor, under the umbrella of the Green Suppliers Network, is a federal and local technical assistance program called Economy, Energy, and Environment (E3). It is designed to assess manufacturer production and training processes as they relate to lean, clean energy, and greenhouse gas emissions. Read more about the E3 Initiative.
Lean. Clean. Energy. From the E3 Initiative, TMAC South Central has partnered with CPS Energy, the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), Department of Commerce, and the San Antonio city government to work with six manufacturers on a pilot project called Lean. Clean. Energy. This project is based on increasing profitability through environmental responsibility. The Lean. Clean. Energy. program is designed to meet individual manufacturers' needs and includes on-site training, discussion, and measurements to quantify opportunities to save energy. A final assessment report is provided to the manufacturer with recommendations and estimated savings.
