Ensuring the quality of a food product before shipment can mean the difference between profit and a major recall. Physical properties, taste, shape, color, microbial presence, damage—measuring all these factors can be an important, yet challenging, task for the food processor. Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) understands the challenges involved in ensuring a quality finished product—we offer a range of technologies to solve some of the most difficult quality assurance tasks and the expertise necessary to develop new techniques for special applications.
