Electromechanical Systems

The Electromechanical Systems Section in the Space Science and Engineering Division designs and fabricates mechanical systems, gas systems, and electronics packaging for space flight applications. Engineers perform system design, development, and prototyping of lighter-than-air autonomous vehicles for military and scientific applications. Design, fabrication, and integration of high pressure hydraulic and gas systems for industrial and aerospace applications are supported. Model shop and water jet cutting facilities provides rapid prototype and end item hardware fabrication.
