Surveillance & Geolocation
Technologies employed by the engineering staff of the Surveillance and Geolocation Department in the Signal Exploitation and Geolocation Division encompass a broad range, from automated spectrum surveillance to satellite-based tracking beacons using GPS and miniature RF backscatter tagging devices with sophisticated data recovery capability. Portable RF and video surveillance systems are complemented by full-scale in-place monitoring systems complete with user-friendly interactive graphics that exercise stored spectrum database and detection algorithms for RF and audio analysis and display.
