Surveillance Systems Section

The Surveillance Systems Section in the Signal Exploitation and Geolocation Division provides specialized hardware and software to enable customer applications such as RF signal surveillance and radio system planning to operate fully automatically on the DSP-based E3238S Signal Development System, "Blackbird." These enhanced capabilities support signal intercept, collection, analysis, recognition, correlation, demodulation, location (direction finding), and authorized signal databases and extend the Blackbird operational frequency range to 100 GHz. The Surveillance Systems Section has experience in the development of a wide range of related equipment from stand-alone workstations to enterprise-wide signal acquisition and intercept systems employing most other types of RF spectrum analyzers and receivers. Experience with signal exploitation software and spectrum analysis facilitates rapid development and prototyping of client-specific spectrum surveillance systems.
