The U.S. Army Aviation community at Redstone Arsenal receives major support from the Aviation Systems Engineering (ASE) office of Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) in Huntsville, Alabama. The ASE primarily supports older aircraft in an engineering services capacity. SwRI provides solutions for the Army's aging aircraft problems on a number of different levels.
Aviation Systems Engineering MissionThe mission of the ASE is to provide clients across the U.S. Army with a highly skilled professional team working together to consolidate SwRI aviation activities and to provide the Army with a solid support infrastructure.
