  • Aerospace Structures focuses on the development and life management of structures with particular emphasis on all sizes and types of aerospace vehicles.
  • Test and Evaluation provides performance evaluation of products and equipment in ocean simulation test chambers that range in pressures to 30,000 psig and sizes up to 90 inches in diameter.
  • Marine Structures and Engineering performs systems design, analysis, fabrication and test programs emphasizing the technologies in the marine and offshore petroleum industries.
  • Product Assurance handles research, development and independent testing services to ensure the functionality, structural integrity and environmental and electromagnetic compatibility of systems and components subjected to normal and adverse operating environments.
  • Dynamics, Acoustics and Reliability Engineering carry out design, analysis and testing of mechanical systems with emphasis on systems subject to acoustic and dynamic loading. Additionally, system level reliability analysis is performed.
  • Aviation Systems Engineering consolidates SwRI aviation activities to provide the Army with a solid support infrastructure at the SwRI Redstone Arsenal office in Huntsville, Ala. The group primarily supports legacy aircraft in an engineering/logistics services capacity, providing solutions for the Army’s aging aircraft.
