Thin ferromagnetic strip MsS® probes for plates and piping are inexpensive and can be cost-effectively and permanently installed for long-term structural health monitoring (SHM). Structural condition changes over a large area can be accurately tracked by periodically collecting data and detecting changes in the collected data.
For more information about our nondestructive evaluation (NDE) capabilities, structural health monitoring technologies, or how you can contract with Southwest Research Institute (SwRI), please contact Sergey A. Vinogradov, Ph.D., at sviogradov@swri.org or call (210) 522-3342.
