	The corrosion laboratory prides itself in conducting tests in hazardous environments unique to our clients in a safe manner. Recently, the SwRI corrosion laboratory team in Building 90 received the SwRI safety award for excellence in their safety procedures, systems, and performance.

Challenging Evaluation Environments

SwRI develops test methods to meet the needs of new applications and materials and conducts routine and customized corrosion testing in challenging environments, such as:

• High-pressure conditions

• High-temperature conditions

• Radiation exposures

Root Cause of Corrosion Failures

As an independent, nonprofit research organization, SwRI offers its clients unbiased failure analyses and assessment of new products. Failure analysis is combined with specialized testing capabilities to determine and demonstrate root cause of corrosion failures.
