The Biomedical Materials Engineering group uses a broad range of multidisciplinary skills, experience, facilities, and problem-solving ability to develop novel solutions to client needs. Technical strengths and abilities in technology development for biomedical devices include:
The Materials Development Section of Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) focuses on solving client materials problems through the use of chemical and materials expertise. The section has approximately 12,000 square feet of laboratory, workshop, and office space housing state-of-the-art equipment for all aspects of soft and hard materials development and analysis.
