NASGRO® Availability

The current production version of NASGRO is 7.1. This version is commercially available and licensable for a fee.

In keeping with the Space Act Agreement between NASA Johnson Space Center and Southwest Research Institute, executable versions of NASGRO and user support are currently available at no cost to only a specified set of users:

  1. NASA Centers

  2. NASA Contractors (for use only on NASA contracts)

  3. European Space Agency (ESA) and its contractors (for use only on ESA contracts)

  4. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and its contractors (for use only on FAA contracts)

  5. Consultant FAA DERs certified for damage tolerance analysis

  6. Other U.S. Government agencies providing sustaining financial support for NASGRO

  7. Participants in the NASGRO Consortium

NASGRO is available to all other users for a licensing fee. These “other” users include NASA/ESA/FAA contractors using NASGRO on non-NASA, non-ESA, or non-FAA projects.
