Training courses in pulsations and vibrations in compressor piping systems, gas compression introductory courses, root cause failure analysis and field compressor performance testing are conducted annually at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) in San Antonio.
A typical course curriculum includes the following topics:
Course curriculum may be customized to fit your operation, personnel, experience and background and time availability. Web-based training sessions for remote operations and pre-taped audio/video sessions are also available.
Registration for the Pulsations and Vibrations in Piping Systems Short Course on April 11-12, 2013, is open.
Active participation, hands-on exercises, lab demonstrations and class working examples help to ensure participants walk away with a thorough understanding of the physics and mechanisms involved in compressor operation and testing and piping system design. For more information about our compressor piping system design training capabilities, or how you can contract with SwRI for direct training, please contact Buddy Broerman at ebroerman@swri.org or (210) 522-2555.. We can offer you the best approach for solving your training needs for reciprocating, centrifugal and screw compressor piping system vibrations.
