E-mail:
Sarah Treadwell
B.A.,
Mathematics, University of California -Davis, 2001
A.A., General Education, Cosumnes River College, 1999
As an Assistant Specialist, Ms. Treadwell provides technical and project
management support. Her duties to date have included development of an
earned value based tracking tool to assist project managers in tracking
the cost and schedule for large projects and creation of a resource
management tool to help allocate resources. She has also provided
support for various projects by analyzing experimental data and lending
her technical writing expertise for reports and proposals.
Ms. Treadwell started her career as a middle and high school math
teacher in a private school in New Mexico at the beginning of 2002. In
addition to teaching various levels of math, she managed class groups of
up to 30 students, used job training to bring outdated curriculum up to
current standards, became proficient in the school's database program,
and mentored new staff. In 2003, she also taught remedial math part-time
to adults at New Mexico State University.
Following a move to Germany in 2004, Ms. Treadwell worked at a
school-age program to provide a safe, educational environment for those
children. Her duties included implementing conflict resolution
techniques, training new staff members, coordinating trips for over 100
children, developing a filing system for reports and a way to maintain
them.
After returning to the United States, in 2007, Ms. Treadwell volunteered
as the financial coordinator for MOPS International in Northwest San
Antonio, Texas. She developed the budget for the 2007-2008 school year,
developed spreadsheets to managed the budget, prepared tables, reports
and documents often used in presentations, collected and processed all
member fees, prepared requisition forms and receipts and assisted in
managing the database of members.
