Aerospace Structures
The Aerospace Structures Section focuses on the development and life
management of structures with particular emphasis on all sizes and types of aerospace
vehicles. It provides turn-key research and development services, state-of-the-art
structural analysis capability, and full-scale vehicle to small-scale component testing for
all segments of the aerospace community.
The section has a long-established history in supporting
Aircraft Structural Integrity Programs (ASIP). It is at the forefront of structural
development areas such as:
- Probabilistic structural design
- Structural health management
- Bonded repair development
