Telcordia Network Equipment-Building System (NEBS) testing – an industry preproduction requirement – evaluates how telecommunications equipment performs during various physical and electrical operating conditions. While NEBS is used for domestic applications, ETSI is used for European Nation applications.

Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) is equipped to handle both NEBS and ETSI. Additionally, GR-487-CORE testing can be performed to assess equipment deployed outside of the Central Office.
