Research AnalystAerospace Electronics and Information Technology Division GS-07F-6087PQUALIFICATIONS: Research Analyst must have completed a four-year college degree in a scientific, technical or engineering discipline and have two years technical experience or its equivalent. A Master's Degree plus one year of experience, or a Doctorate with no experience is considered equivalent. Demonstrated a meaningful level of technical accomplishments. Completion of SwRI promotion and project management courses desirable. RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs work involving conventional investigations within a science or engineering specialty; designs experiments, surveys, structures, software, and equipment applying standard scientific and engineering theories, concepts, and techniques. Conducts process and analytical studies and models scientific phenomenon and problems using available engineering software. Serves as phase manager on major projects and as project manager on projects of limited scope and complexity. Schedule
