QUALIFICATIONS:   Engineers at this level must have demonstrated the capability to perform entry-level engineering tasks. A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or scientific discipline is required, but the person typically has little or no practical experience. Professional engineering registration is considered equivalent. This initial assignment provides the opportunity for the individual to learn to function professionally, responsibly, and accountably in SwRI's R&D environment, for the individual to evaluate his or her interest in the Institute's technical programs, and for Institute management to evaluate the individual's aptitude and capability for future success and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIESThe SE-1 Engineer must exercise judgment, diligence, and attention to detail and demonstrate an aptitude for carrying out responsible technical assignments of a variety of training program development projects. The Engineer will participate in systems, databases and network design programs primarily within Aerospace applications.
