QUALIFICATIONS:   The Executive Assistant must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the internal processes relative to the officer's responsibility, proper correspondence protocol in relation to the officer's status, corporate policies and procedures, and the functions of groups within the training center. Individuals must be able to work independently with minimal direction on complex assignments, respond in the officer's characteristic manner to day-to-day management problems, interact effectively with clients, exercise strict confidentiality and discretion, and assist the officer in management of his or her time. The Executive Assistant should have an appropriate four-year degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant specialization. If the individual is non-degreed, he or she should have twelve years total of relevant experience.

RESPONSIBILITIESThe executive assistant occupies an exempt professional position and provides direct close administrative support to officers of the Institute. This position is normally promoted from an administrative assistant. Works primarily within the Aerospace Engineering field.
