The Southwest Research Consortium

The Southwest Research Consortium (SRC), founded in 1974, combines the capabilities of nine major research and educational organizations located in the greater San Antonio area. Each member adds expertise in rapidly expanding fields related to the biomedical sciences. The synergistic strength of the Consortium offers state-of-the-art services difficult to match elsewhere.

SRC strengths and capabilities include:

• Biomedical research programs that provide fundamental knowledge about life science processes that become the basis for advanced medical treatment.
