Alliance with European powertrain company improves SwRI's prime mover capabilities

San Antonio, Texas --  June 13, 2002 -- Southwest Research Institute^® (SwRI^®), and Powertrain Technology Ltd. (PTL) have entered into a strategic alliance in powertrain technology development that better serves the needs of their worldwide clients.

The agreement between SwRI, based in San Antonio, Texas, USA, and PTL of Shoreham-by-Sea, United Kingdom goes into effect July 1.
