(Fluids)

SUMMARY:  Develop new businesses in the fields of fluids including mechanical design, fabrication, and testing, experimental fluids and heat transfer, multiphase flow, flow assurance, and computational fluid dynamics; take the lead in the promotion of projects in coordination with management and senior staff and secure one-half million dollars in project revenue within the first two years and one million dollars per year starting in the third year; assemble proposal and project teams and manage major multidisciplinary, multi-sectional projects; develop and execute projects focused around mechanical engineering fluids with government and commercial customers a broad range of customers is expected, but work with the oil and gas industry will be the initial target; co-author, publish, and present technical papers; serve as a member of an engineering professional society and chair technical sessions at annual technical conferences; focus on developing long-term customer relationships.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  Requires an MS degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred) with 10 years experience in successful program development and large project execution. Ph.D. desired, but not required; registered P.E. a plus. Must have at least a 3.5 G.P.A. Must be a team-builder and team player; have knowledge of industry and U.S. government contracting procedures, rules, and regulations; must have the ability to learn internal systems for proposals and project management; must have expertise in establishing successful customer relationships. A valid/clear driver’s license is required.
 

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:  Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
