SUMMARY: Perform various wet chemistry methods using gravimetric, titrimetric, and spectrophotometric techniques; methods included: EPA / SW-846 / ASMT / OSHA / NIOSH/ APHA; run a variety of instrumental methods including atomic absorption, atomic emission, mass spectrometric, and radiochemical; assist with data reports concerning test results, and develop procedures to perform analysis; evaluate test results.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires a BS degree in Chemistry or other related Physical Sciences with 1 year experience working with Inductively Coupled Plasma Atomic Emissions Spectrometry (ICP-MS) and 1 year hands-on environmental or analytical laboratory experience. Must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Requires good math and computer skills; general laboratory knowledge; must be able to work under a stressful environment; must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends if necessary.
