SUMMARY: Design and develop software which integrates a number of electronic sensors into a larger system; work involves low level systems development, communicating directly to hardware, as well as GUI design and deployment; review hardware schematics, design requirements, and source code to produce a system software plan; execute the development plan to produce a debugged, deliverable software product.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires a BS degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or Physics. Must have at least a 3.5 GPA. Experience developing complex software systems in C/C++ required. Strong familiarity with development on Windows and Linux are also required; experience with the QT toolkit is a plus; knowledge of database and debugging techniques a plus. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
