RESEARCH ANALYST/SR. RESEARCH ANALYST (SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT) Job code: 10-00796*

Job Summary:

Develop advanced software solutions for Intelligent Systems Department such as traffic management systems, medical systems, and other novel turnkey systems. Perform all phases of development lifecycle, including requirements definition, software/systems design, implementation, testing, and integration. Initiate advanced research and development programs, interact with clients, and make technical presentations. Serve both as a software developer and researcher developing new technology areas for the department.

Education/Experience:

Requires a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or other Engineering major with a computer science emphasis and 3-10 years experience in software and systems development using object oriented languages (e.g. Java, C++) and database design and development on a variety of engines (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL). Must have at least a 3.5 GPA. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and able to work well individually or as a member of a project team; excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prefer data management specialization/interest (e.g. data warehouse, data mining). A valid/clear driver's license is required.
