SR. RESEARCH ENGINEER/PRINCIPAL ENGINEER (SIGNAL PROCESSING)

Job Summary:
- Design, develop, test, document and deploy communications signal processing algorithms for applications in specialized radio communication, radiolocation and electronic warfare programs; collaborate with client technical representatives and SwRI senior engineering and software staff; prepare technical documents and support proposal preparation as required.
Education/Experience:
- Requires a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework in signal processing and communications and at least a 3.3 GPA. Must have 2-8 years of Pre- or post-degree experience with communications signal processing experience. Must be familiar with communications signals processing. Experience with field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) and Verilog desired; must be familiar with Matlab and C/C++. Must be able to work at SwRI laboratories and short-term travel to government facilities/military bases or other customer facilities for system installations and to provide technical support. A valid/clear driver's license is required. .
