PRINICIPAL ENGINEER/STAFF ENGINEER (SIGNAL INTELLIGENCE) Job code: 16-00807*


Job Summary:

    Design, develop, test, document, and deploy EW/SIGINT systems and algorithms; collaborate with client technical representatives and senior engineering and software staff; activities will include work at laboratories and short-term travel to government facilities/military bases or other customer facilities for system installations and to provide technical support; prepare technical documents and support proposal preparation as required.

Education/Experience:

    Must have a MS degree in Electrical Engineering with coursework in communications and at least a 3.3 GPA. Must have at least 12 years of pre- or post-degree experience with Electronic Warfare/SIGINT. Must be familiar with EW/SIGINT and communications; working knowledge of RF propagation analysis, antenna design, RF system cascade analysis, EMI mitigation, RCS reduction, beam forming, and digital and analog sub assemblies is required; must be able to collaborate with other disciplines,such as mechanical engineering and materials science, for ruggedization and size, weight, and power (SWaP) reductions; experience with Matlab is required; experience using applied computational electromagnetic software packages (such as EMSS, FEKO, CST Microwave Studio, Ansoft HFSS, NEC, or WIPL-D) is required; familiarity with network analyzers,spectrum analyzers, and other benchtop analysis tools is recommended, Successful candidate will possess skills and experience in technical leadership roles including the ability to set requirements, decompose problems, effectively communicate designs, support planning, coordinate work assignments, assist with business development and provide effective presentations. Travel required. A valid clear drivers license is required.
