PROGRAM MANAGER-R&D (FLUID DYN & MULTIPHS FLOW)

Job Summary:
- Conducts a wide range of computational and experimental studies in areas such as fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, multiphase flow, flow assurance, flow measurement, and valve testing, primarily for a broad spectrum of the oil and gas industry; develop ideas for business development and take the lead in the promotion of projects (in coordination with management and senior staff), securing one-half million dollars in project revenues within the first two years and one million dollars per year starting in the third year; proposal and project teams and manage major multidisciplinary, multi-sectional projects; work with the aerospace industry and NASA will be the initial target; co-author, publish, and present technical papers; serve as a volunteer for an engineering professional society and chair technical sessions at annual technical conferences.
Education/Experience:
- Requires a MS or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least a 3.5 GPA and 10 years experience with successful program development and large project execution. Ph.D. desired (but not required), registered P.E. a plus. Must have outstanding interpersonal skills; broad range of customers; must be focused on developing long-term customer relationships; must be a team-builder and team player; must have knowledge of industry and U.S. government contracting procedures, rules, and regulations; must have the ability to learn internal systems for proposals and project management; must have expertise in establishing successful customer relationships. A valid/clear driver's license is required.

- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
