ANALYST/RESEARCH ANALYST (SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT) (OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA) Job code: 09-01037*


Job Summary:

    Design, develop, integrate, test, update, and document .NET Windows and Web applications for Government and commercial PC and web environments. Includes database (ORACLE, SQL Server) design and creation of stored procedures; support software development team involved in developing requirements, designing, implementing, testing, and documenting software applications including Oracle database, data mining and analysis tools, and .Net based applications; perform in all phases of software life cycle, including requirements generation, software design, implementation, testing, integration, validation, installation and maintenance activities, and preparing required documentation; translate software design into a software program; work with Object Oriented Programming and traditional top down design; develop engineering support documentation including source code comments, help files, MIL Spec documentations, and engineering source data for formal government technical documents; serve as a member of an Identification Verification and Validation team to review software requirements, design, source code and functional test results and provide written documentation of review; travel, as required, to client designated or training sites.

Education/Experience:

    Requires a BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering or equivalent from ABET approved university with at least a 3.45 GPA. Must have 1-4 years experience with all elements of software lifecycle, especially requirements generation/review, design and development of software systems and understanding of software design engineering principles. Preferred to have mathematics and/or statistics knowledge and skills, along with ORACLE and SQL Server exposure; must have experience with some combination of the following languages/frameworks is desired: .Net (C#, ASP, Visual Basic), Oracle, SQL Server; must be able to exercise judgment, diligence and pay attention to detail, as well as demonstrate an aptitude for completing responsible technical assignments, and work well as part of a team. Some travel required. A valid/clear driver's license is required.

Special Considerations:

    Note: Work assignment is in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
