ANALYST/RESEARCH ANALYST (SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT) Job code: 10-00839*


Job Summary:

    Develop software solutions for Intelligent Systems Department such as traffic management software, traveler information systems, data mining/warehouse and decision support systems; perform in all phases of the development lifecycle, including requirements definition, software/systems design, implementation, testing, and integration; initiate advanced research and development programs, interact with clients, and make technical presentations. Applicant will serve both as a software developer and researcher developing new technology areas for the Department.

Education/Experience:

    Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with at least a 3.25 GPA. Must have excellent interpersonal skills; must be able to work well individually or as a member of a project team; must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must have PC development skills. A valid/clear driver's license is required.

Special Considerations:

    Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
