ENGINEER/RESEARCH ENGINEER (ROBOTICS & AUTOMATION ENG ) Job code: 10-00844*


Job Summary:

    Develop and deploy robotic systems for industrial, manufacturing, and defense clients; write proposals; develop perception and control algorithms; build and debug hardware systems; present results to clients; install hardware systems on-site; support installed systems.

Education/Experience:

    Requires a BS, MS or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with at least a 3.5 GPA. Must have robotic software development experience. Beneficial capabilities include: ROS development, C++ software development and architecture, industrial robotics experience, machine vision/perception experience in 3D data analysis, object recognition, robotic manipulator planning, grasp planning, machine learning. A valid/clear driver's license is required.

Special Considerations:

    Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
