SCIENTIST/RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Job Summary:
- Conduct field investigations related to ground and surface water resource assessment, analyze and interpret hydrologic data, prepare water resource assessment reports, and present results to clients and the public. Successful candidate may also participate in investigations related to hazardous and nuclear waste management, hydrocarbon exploration and development, and development of environmental impact assessments.
Education/Experience:
- Requires a BS or MS degree in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Geology, Civil Engineering or related field with at least a 3.0 GPA. Master's degree preferred. Must have 2 years of applied experience with Bachelor's degree or 0-1 year experience with Master's degree. Applied or academic training in numerical groundwater modeling is desired. Must have academic or practical training in geographical information system and data management software; must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to interact with clients and the public; must be able to work independently in the office and in the field; must be physical able to work independently in the field under hot and cold conditions. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
