ASSOCIATE SPECIALIST/SPECIALIST (SUBCONTRACTS)

Job Summary:
Solicit, negotiate, award and administer subcontracts to support contracts with Institute clients; solicit proposals; conduct cost/price analysis; negotiate and finalize subcontracts and other agreements (subgrants, CRADA's, etc.); administer subcontracts including closeout; other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
Requires a BS degree in Business or related discipline with at least a 3.0 GPA. MS preferred. Must have 1-5 years experience in contracts or Subcontracts negotiation, award and administration and with personal computers. Experience with government requirements, primarily FAR and A-133 preferred; must have proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word; MS Access experience preferred; must have knowledge of general business practices and procedures; must have thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as well as current experience with OMB A-133 requirements and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit requirements.
