ASSISTANT MANAGER-R&D/PROGRAM MANAGER-R&D (RF SYSTEMS)

Job Summary:
- Plan, organize, lead and coordinate the activities of project, technical and administrative support staff; oversee the completion of research, development, fabrication, test and support projects for a mix of U.S. Government and International clients; work on projects that emphasize on system, hardware and software development - application areas include intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and electronic warfare (EW).
Education/Experience:
- Requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field with at least a 3.3 GPA. Project management experience required. Electrical Engineering preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with a PMP certification. Must have 5-10 years of professional-level experience with evidence of increasing ability to manage technical projects. Must have at least five years of experience as a PM performing the management and control of budgets (including earned value analysis), personnel, scope, schedule and material resources. Must have experience and knowledge of contracts execution to include the timely submission of all associated deliverables and reports; must be capable of directing and managing the planning and execution of multiple projects, maintain strong analytical and innovative skills and have experience building and leading complex diversified teams; must have an understanding of radio electronics and radio frequency systems; must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with customers, executive management and support staff leadership; must have proven success in managing technical programs and high performing teams. Current TS/SCI security clearance a plus. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
