Innovative research is conducted at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) to advance the state of the art in science and technology. SwRI has a proven track record of conducting applied research ? taking basic research and finding useful applications in the real world.

 

To make such a leap, one must not only understand the ideas behind the basic research, but also the needs of those in the real world.
