Registration Registration should be done as soon as possible. Enrollment is limited to a first-come, first-served basis. Fill out and mail the registration form with your payment or apply by letter, telephone, fax, purchase order or here online to Janet Banda, Southwest Research Institute, P.O. Box 28510, San Antonio, Texas 78228-0510. Letters of acknowledgement will be sent immediately following enrollment. Additional information will be sent approximately one month prior to the course. Time and Place Check-in will be 8:00 a.m. on the first day at the Administration Building first floor conference room on the SwRI campus in San Antonio, Texas. Maps will be provided to all registrants. Classes will meet from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday. Ample parking exists at the Institute. Tuition/Refunds A tuition fee of $2,700 is required to cover instruction expenses. The tuition fee covers SwRI expenses, instructors' fees, a cocktail hour, a dinner party, one set of lecture notes, and all handouts. Lodging, air travel, transportation, and meals are the student's responsibility. Students canceling three weeks before the course (February 9, 2009) will be assessed a $100 penalty. Students canceling after February 9, 2009 will be assessed the entire registration fee; however, student substitution is possible without incurring any penalty. Housing and Meals Housing and meals are not provided. Two recommended hotels are the Holiday Inn Express & Suites - $79.95/ and the Courtyard Marriott - $95/night. Should you prefer to make other arrangements for yourself near SwRI or Downtown San Antonio, you may visit the website at www.alamocityhotels.com. When making your reservation at the recommended hotels, mention that you will be attending the Penetration Mechanics Short Course at SwRI to get the rates mentioned. Complimentary coffee will be provided each morning of the course and refreshments will be provided at each break. A social hour is scheduled at the end of the first day. There will be a course banquet dinner (business casual attire) in the middle of the week. Course
