Radio frequency research and development is conducted in SwRI’s state of the art RF anechoic chamber, which features carbon-loaded radiation absorbing material cones that provide a large, reflection-free quiet zone. Double-shielded metallic walls enclosing the chamber further prevent external signals and noise from interfering with measurements. An adjacent isolated control room provides a quiet shielded environment in which to operate sensitive RF measurement equipment.
