Radioactive Trace Technology (RATT) measuring crude oil corrosivity. Cylindrically guided wave technique (CGWT) that uses ultrasonic energy propagation to signal the presence of corrosion and cracks. ASTM D6594 bench test that evaluates diesel engine lubricants to determine their tendency to corrode alloys of lead and copper.
