FOCAS

SwRI has developed a burner-based method of aging exhaust catalysts. This system is called FOCAS. This method of aging allows the user to age catalysts faster than engine-based methods and also allows the user to separate the thermal effect from oil poisoning effects. SwRI performs FOCAS bench aging and also offers FOCAS systems for sale to clients.
