Flow Modeling--Fluid Transients
Fluid flow (gas or liquid) through closed conduits, such as pipelines. We have Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and other, special-purpose computer codes that can simulate flow transients (such as those caused by water hammer, pipeline ruptures, or rapid operational changes, among other occurrences) in closed conduits. We also have some field experience monitoring flow transients of various types.
