Characterization and measurement of byproducts. Fuel cells are being developed to provide clean propulsion for vehicles and powr for many applications. When anything other than hydrogen is used as the fuel source(e.g. hydrocarbons), these must be conveerted to hydrogen, and unwanted byproducts are formed.
